The next generation in healthcare beds the Arro, provides the
greatest travel range of any bed in the industry, moving from a
low height of 6 ¾ to 33 inches, all in a perfectly vertical motion.
The low height of 6 ¾ inches helps to reduce the number and
severity of fall injuries for residents. The high height of
33-inches allows staff to move the bed comfortably and safely,
at an ergonomically correct height, saving staff from bending
and moving the bed in the low position. The Arro's vertical travel
ensures the bed will move straight up and down during height
adjustments. As a result, the Arro will never damage walls and
takes up the smallest footprint in a room.
Residents who fall out of bed have always been a concern for
long-term care facilities. Regular beds do not provide the safe
resting height that confused residents need, placing them in a
potentially dangerous situation. Carroll Healthcare quickly
realized these concerns and pioneered the first electric low bed –
Solo. A trusted and well known name in the industry, Solo allows
residents to rest at a safe low resting height of 7 7/8”, while
enabling staff to raise the bed to a comfortable working height
of 25” with the touch of a button. Available with a wide range
functional features, it’s easy to see why Solo is an industry
favorite.
Invacare’s SC900 promotes quality of care for fall prone
residents. A low resting height of 9 ½” helps to eliminate resident
injuries resulting from falls. The high height of 22” allows
caregivers to raise the bed to a comfortable working height.
Completely vertical travel ensures walls will never get damaged
during bed height adjustments, and provides the smallest
footprint in a room.
Now available with three ultra-quiet DC actuators, Invacare's
820DLX series beds offer healthcare facilities a value-priced bed
with all the features and durability needed for long-term care
environments. The 820DLX beds have a unique expandable
mattress deck that accepts both 76" and 80" mattresses. With a
travel range of 13 1/2” to 27, the 820DLX beds are ideal for a
broad range of resident care. An underbed clearance of 7”
allows for easy access with overbed tables and patient transfers.
